NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be conducted by the Town of Eau Galle Town Board on Monday, September 14, 2026 beginning at 6:50PM at the Town Hall, 285 County Road BB Baldwin, WI 54002 to consider a 12 month moratorium on the acceptance, processing, and/or approval of applications for Solar Energy, Battery Storage, Data Centers and Wind Energy within the municipality. The proposed moratorium is intended to allow the Planning Commission and Town Board adequate time to study the impacts of such uses, develop and update comprehensive land use regulations.
Review Proposed Moratorium DocumentThe public may review copies of the proposed moratorium at the Town Hall during regular town office hours. Interested parties may make arrangements with the Town Clerk to obtain a copy of the proposed moratorium by calling (715) 928-9999 or emailing [email protected].

During the Public Hearing, the public is invited to speak on the proposed 12 month moratorium. Written comments may be submitted to the Town Clerk until 4:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2026 and shall become part of the record. The Public Hearing shall be closed when all interested parties in attendance have had an opportunity to offer comment.
Upon the close of the Public Hearing, a meeting of the Town of Eau Galle Town Board shall be called to order and the proposed 12 month moratorium shall be addressed per the agenda.
