Minutes of 09-09-2014 Eau Galle Board Meeting
Minutes are unofficial until approved by Town Board
The regular monthly meeting was called to order by Chairman Lund at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall.
Chairman Lund indicated that notice of the meeting was posted as required by Statutes.
Town Board members present were David North, Dennis Duckworth, Jim Lund and William Peavey.
The agenda was approved as presented on a motion by David North second by Dennis Duckworth, motion carried.
Minutes of the August 11, 2014 Board Meeting were approved on a motion by Dennis Duckworth second by David North, motion carried
Bills for the month were reviewed. Motion by David North second by Dennis Duckworth to approve bills as presented, motion carried.
Clerk reviewed correspondence.
Discussion/action relating to all issues dealing with Town Roads with Anthony Julius Acres LLC. Chairman Lund reported all issues have been resolved with just a few minor details to be corrected.
Clerk Peavey reviewed a draft 2015 budget and on next month agenda with updates.
Reviewed IOH options, on next month agenda with more specific language indicting this references overweight farm machinery
Discussed need for new Animal Control Officer, board to look for possible resident applicants and on next month agenda. Need to review duties at a later meeting and put add in paper if no applicant found.
Road work 2014
- Water on road by Dave Benck when rains.
- Patch hole in road
- Clean Ditch
- Wayne Albrightson concern about water in field from ditch
- Chairman to view issue
- 270th. south of N trees in ditch an issue
Chairman’s Report;
- Clean Up day October 4, 9-12 at Murtha
- Need new Zoning Map with certification notice
- Wild Hog at Jack Mielke residence, concerns about crop damage
- Hog no longer a concern
- Town Baldwin and ½ Town Hammond now open to ATV use
- On next agenda
Discussion was held on possible issues on compliance with Town Ordinance regarding new residential construction in regards to compliance with state UDC code, suggested wording changes made, on next agenda with changes highlighted to Board before meeting.
