Minutes of the July 13, 2026 Town of Eau Galle Board Meeting

The regular monthly meeting was called to order by Town Board Chairman Lund at 7:00 PM at the town hall.
Chairman Lund indicated that the notice of the meeting was posted as required by statutes and noted no additional items were added since the July Agenda was posted at the Town Hall and on the official Town website.
The Town Board members present were Ryan Anez, Amy Shafer, Stephanie Supri, and Jim Lund.
The agenda was approved as presented on a motion by Amy Shafer second by Ryan Anez, motion carried.
The minutes of the June 8, 2026 Town Board Meeting were approved on a motion by Ryan Anez second by Amy Shafer, motion carried.
Treasurer’s report, and bills were reviewed and approved by Ryan Anez second by Amy Shafer, motion carried.
Building and driveway permits were reviewed.
Clerk reviewed correspondence and emails.
Barbi Manter with Rural Mutual Insurance went over the town’s policy with the board. She will send updated quotes with varying deductibles.
Motion by Amy Shafer to approve a joint driveway for James Krueger in Section 2 second by Ryan Anez, motion carried.
Supervisor Anez reviewed the Planning Commission meeting. Will meet again in August prior to the regular board meeting.
Town Board discussed liquor licenses in the town. Allowed 3 “Class B” licenses.
Deputy Clerk Peavey reviewed the preliminary 2027 budget.
Road Work:
- Mowing to be scheduled.
- Complaints have been received by town residents regarding gravel roads. County will be out to grade soon.
- Start discussion on 2027 road projects.
Chairman’s Report:
- WTA meeting 7/23/26 at 6:30pm at the highway department
- Town received DATCP contact information if any residents would like to place complaints.
- There was a burial at Brookville cemetery.
Public Comment/Open Forum:
Residents expressed concern over land in the town being used for solar or data centers. Town is addressing these concerns.

The next regular monthly Board Meeting will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026 at 7pm.
