Minutes of the Jan. 12, 2026 Town of Eau Galle Board Meeting

The regular monthly meeting was called to order by Town Board Chairman Lund at 7:00 PM at the town hall.
Chairman Lund indicated that the notice of the meeting was posted as required by statutes and noted no additional items were added since the January Agenda was posted at the Town Hall and on the official Town website.
The Town Board members present were Ryan Anez, Amy Shafer, Stephanie Supri, and Jim Lund.
The agenda was approved as presented on a motion by Amy Shafer second by Ryan Anez, motion carried.
The minutes of the December 8, 2025 Town Board Meeting were approved on a motion by Ryan Anez second by Amy Shafer, motion carried.
Treasurer’s report, and bills were reviewed and approved with the subtraction of $3,780.00 on the check to JM Homes and withheld until the correct door is installed on a motion by Ryan Anez second by Amy Shafer, motion carried.
Building and driveway permits were reviewed.
Clerk reviewed correspondence and emails.
Todd Dolan with All Croix Inspections went over updated contract. Motion by Amy Shafer to approve the updated 2 year contract second by Ryan Anez, motion carried.
Motion by Amy Shafer to approve the 4 Lot CSM for Scott and Katy Peavey in Section 14 second by Ryan Anez, motion carried.
Motion by Ryan Anez to approve the 2026 Budget carry over from $175,000.00 to $240,412.00 second by Amy Shafer, motion carried.
Road Work:
- Motion by Ryan Anez to change road rating to reflect the 110 rods on 23rd avenue second by Amy Shafer, motion carried.
- Gingerich’s approve snow plow turn around further up the driveway to prevent installation of hammerhead.
- Watch roads as weather breaks.
Chairman’s Report:
- January 21, 2026 at 9am at the St. Croix County Government Center is a meeting with area towns to discuss the Amish community and building permits.
- January 22, 2026 is the Wisconsin Towns Association Unit Meeting
- Heather McAbee, Mike Ostlie and Ryan Anez’s terms are up in April for the Planning Commission.
- Ryan Anez to do BOR training in March.
- Thank you to Connie North for her time as an Election Official.
Public Comment/Open Forum:
Emma Loberg asked about widening her driveway. No limit, just a new permit needed.

The next regular monthly Board Meeting will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 4pm.
