Minutes of the Feb. 9, 2026 Town of Eau Galle Board Meeting

The regular monthly meeting was called to order by Town Board Chairman Lund at 4:00 PM at the town hall.
Chairman Lund indicated that the notice of the meeting was posted as required by statutes and noted no additional items were added since the February Agenda was posted at the Town Hall and on the official Town website.
The Town Board members present were Ryan Anez, Amy Shafer, Stephanie Supri, and Jim Lund.
The agenda was approved as presented on a motion by Amy Shafer second by Ryan Anez, motion carried.
The minutes of the January 12, 2026 Town Board Meeting were approved on a motion by Ryan Anez second by Amy Shafer, motion carried.
Motion by Amy Shafer to approve the transfer of funds from the Park Fund account to the General Fund account in the amount of $5,438.58 second by Ryan Anez, motion carried.
Treasurer’s report, and bills were reviewed and approved with the additional check to JM Homes for the new door installation and 5 additional checks for the February tax settlements. Motion by Ryan Anez, second by Amy Shafer, motion carried.
Building and driveway permits were reviewed.
Clerk reviewed correspondence and emails.
Motion by Amy Shafer to authorize payment for the mandatory Board of Review training that Ryan Anez will be attending in March second by Ryan Anez, motion carried.
Road Work:
- Road bans may possibly be in effect by the March meeting.
- Board to think about this years road projects to be discussed at the next meeting.
Chairman’s Report:
- United Fire and Rescue is doing a radio frequency change for emergency calls. The cost will be $500,000.00 with the Town of Eau Galle’s portion 10% of that. How the Town will pay that will be discussed at the next meeting.
