Minutes of the April 13, 2026 Town of Eau Galle Board Meeting

The regular monthly meeting was called to order by Town Board Chairman Lund at 7:00 PM at the town hall.
Chairman Lund indicated that the notice of the meeting was posted as required by statutes and noted no additional items were added since the April Agenda was posted at the Town Hall and on the official Town website.
The Town Board members present were Ryan Anez, Amy Shafer, Stephanie Supri, and Jim Lund.
The agenda was approved as presented on a motion by Amy Shafer second by Ryan Anez, motion carried.
The minutes of the March 9, 2026 Town Board Meeting were approved on a motion by Ryan Anez second by Amy Shafer, motion carried.
Treasurer’s report, and bills were reviewed and approved by Amy Shafer second by Ryan Anez, motion carried.
Building and driveway permits were reviewed.
Clerk reviewed correspondence and emails.
Town Board reviewed Fire Inspection Ordinance. Will be brought to Public Hearing on May 11, 2026.
Town Board discussed Renewable Energy options. Will refer to St. Croix County Ordinances. Will determine if the Planning Commission needs to come together to discuss and/or draft ordinance for the Town.
Town Board discussed lawn mowing contracts. Will make decision by May meeting.
Road Work:
- St. Croix County road bans are off Thursday, April 16, 2026.
- Culverts on 30th Ave to be started May 1st.
- Ditch spraying to start.
- The bridge on 270th St failed inspection. Is the only bridge in St. Croix County to fail. Highway Commissioner Robbie is confident it will last for a few more years before needing to be replaced and recommends applying for a reimbursement grant called the LSSIP. The State will fund 90% of the project, County will fund 5% and the Town is left with 5%. Application is due by May 1st, 2026.
Chairman’s Report:
- Annual Meeting is set for April 21, 2026.
- Open Book is May 3rd 12pm-2pm and Board of Review is May 13, 2026 3pm-5pm.
- WTA meeting is in April.
- Spring Clean Up is set for Saturday, May 2, 2026 9am-12pm at Murtha.
- Black dirt may be needed to fill in the trench around the hall.

Date of Next Meeting:
The next regular monthly Board Meeting will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 7pm with a Public Hearing to address the Fire Inspection Ordinance at 6:50pm.
